Walleye Fishing Line Giveaway

For those of you who have been following this blog, you know I have been doing a few product giveaways. If this is your first time visiting, then I would highly recommend that you look over to the left… just below the Walleyepalooza Leaderboard. Type your email in there and hit the “Subscribe” button. This simply sends you an update every time I add a post to this blog. That way, if you forget to check in, you will get a reminder every time I do a giveaway like this. No spam, no sales pitches… just a note that a new item has been posted. If you are on Facebook you might want to click on the Facebook icon over to the left as well and “Like” my page. That will add a note to your wall as well.
This week I decided to offer a lucky reader two 330 yard spools of Berkley Trilene Sensation mono. We made the switch to this line early in the season after a somewhat dissatisfying experience with another brand of fluorocarbon line. We’re pretty satisfied with this stuff so far and I would like to hear another angler’s opinion. Sensation is ultra strong and thin. Their highest strength-per-diameter mono, wet or dry. Super sensitive to detect light bites. Low memory for outstanding castability and handling. Maximum knot strength for more fish-fighting power.
If you are interested in two spools, just post a comment below indicating as much. I will select a winner at random sometime on Wednesday, July 6. I’ll post the name of the winner here, so check back in. If your name is posted as the winner, simply shoot me an email (walleyeguy “at” walleyeguyblog.com) with your address and the pound test you prefer. In return I would like the winner to provide me with a short review of the product. Winners must have a U.S. address to qualify. Good luck!

Totally interested. I too just can’t get to like flouro (except for maybe using on snells… I use trilene smooth casting 8 lb for all jigging rigging and 10 lb xt for trolling. I’d LOVE to try this for jigging/rigging to see how it compares to the ol standard!
I’m a Fireline fan for pulling cranks, but the Sensation has been pretty good.
I am always willing to try new line and look forward to being able to check out this Berkley Sensation. Will be tossing Rapala’s at some Brown Trout!
I was planning on replacing the line on my reel this summer. This would do the trick.
I’m not fussy about what kind of line I use, I just like to get my line wet! LOL!
I’m nearly strictly powerpro except for trolling/leaders. Nothing comes close to braid in terms of “sensation” in my book.
I’ll give it a good skeptical review
I would imagine it would be perfect for short line fishing where a small amount of stretch is a good thing, especially on soft mouthed species. I was lucky enough to win the Berkley Fluorocarbon so this comp is not for me to enter but I’ll be back for the next offer. I’m out filming the review this week so keep your eyes peeled and I’ll post as soon as it’s finished. You can check out my Facebook page here… http://www.facebook.com/pages/Fish-Face/157003397704983 enjoy and please if you do then press the “like” button
I’d love to give it a try. Throw my name in the hat.
